American Regional Math League (ARML)

• Founded in 1973. One of the most prestigious math competitions in the world. 
• In the 2025 ARML competition, 128 teams and over 1800 students from the United States, Canada, China and South Korea competed.
• A team-based structure. Teams are formed on a state basis.

ARML Training

• In the summer of 2024, we hosted a one-week, state-wide ARML summer camp at UAB (both in-person and through Zoom). There were six teachers, including math professors from UAB, UA, and math graduates from MIT.
• We have formed local ARML training teams in Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Mobile.

2025 ARML National Competition

• With the help from parents, Alabama team traveled to North Carolina for the competition on May 31st, 2025. 
• Alabama team ranked 31st in 2025 ARML competition. Allan Yuan was one of the 3 students who went to the tiebreaks in the region. Albert Chen was the highest team scorer.
